Position Overview

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media Graphic Designer to support our Design Director in bringing our brand’s social strategy to life. This role is dedicated to crafting visually compelling content across all social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. You’ll work closely with the Design Director to execute concepts, adapt campaign assets, and create engaging graphics that resonate with our community. MUST HAVE LUXURY BEAUTY BRAND EXPERIENCE.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the Design Director to translate social media strategies into eye-catching visual

content

• Design and produce social-first graphics for posts, stories, and TikTok (including in-feed posts, stories,

covers, carousels, and highlight icons)

• Create basic motion graphics and simple animations to enhance social storytelling

• Adapt existing campaign assets for various social formats while maintaining brand consistency

• Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to ensure content remains fresh

and engaging

• Assist with photo editing, retouching, and occasional video cropping for social use

• Ensure all visuals align with the brand’s “no makeup makeup” aesthetic and voice

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on social media content preferably within beauty,

luxury, or fashion.

• Strong portfolio showcasing social media graphics, stories, and motion/animated assets

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Canva

• Basic motion graphics/animation skills (for Reels, TikTok, Stories, etc.)

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

• Passion for beauty and social media

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines (20 hours/week)

• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Based in LA or NYC preferred.

CompensationContract position, up to $50/hour, commensurate with experience.
