As a nonprofit organization providing essential Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy services in the South Houston and Gulf Coast area, we are seeking a motivated Grant Development Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial in securing funding that supports our mission to uplift and shape healthy communities. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit grant proposals, including writing and editing.
• Conduct research and collaborate with staff for supporting information.
• Identify new grant opportunities aligned with MyCHN's strategic initiatives.
• Monitor project deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Support other grant writers in the Development Department.
• Assist with the Patient Satisfaction survey process.
• Prepare narrative documents, including the Annual Needs Assessment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Effective communication and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent initiative and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of federal and state contracts.
• Proficiency in managing grants and submission of reports.
• Documented background in grant writing.
