Job Description

Responsibilities: Responsible for obtaining and verifying patient information, coordinating daily patient scheduling at offsite locations, and ensuring referrals are complete. Duties include contacting patients and physician offices for demographic, insurance, and authorization details; verifying coverage and benefits; and meeting pre-admission requirements. The position also provides clerical support, maintains confidentiality and professionalism, adheres to infection control and hospital policies, and demonstrates reliability and service excellence in line with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital's standards.

Requirements: High School diploma required. Previous experience in a medical office environment preferred. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.

Work Schedule: 35 hours per week. Monday-Friday, 8:00a-4:00p. Must be available to work 3-5 weekend days per year as needed.
