Job Summary:
Join a high-performing Product Development (PD) Reporting & Finance team within a leading off-price retailer. As a Financial Analyst, youll drive financial clarity by managing quarter-close reporting processes, building scalable reporting tools, and collaborating cross-functionally to support strategic business decisions. This role offers a unique opportunity to modernize financial reporting workflows, automate dashboards, and enhance efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and evolve quarter-close financial reporting for Apparel, Home, and Accessories divisions
Present financial insights to senior leadership, effectively telling the story behind the numbers
Transition reporting from quarterly to a streamlined month-end cadence
Maintain and enhance tools for planned vs. actuals, currency exchange, tariffs, and cost savings
Partner with the team to transition static reports into interactive Power BI dashboards
Build and manage financial models for scenario planning and what-if analysis
Develop reports for budgeting, headcount, and other key business metrics
Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Sourcing, Merchandising, IT, and Corporate Finance
Document and standardize processes via SOPs, flow charts, and reference guides
Champion automation and process improvements for scalability and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
57 years of relevant business/financial analysis experience
Strong ability to communicate and simplify financial concepts for non-financial audiences
Highly organized, proactive, and deadline-driven in fast-paced environments
Advanced Microsoft Excel (Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint skills
Expertise in Power BI for dashboard design, data modeling, and visualization
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and experience handling large datasets
Nice-to-Have Experience:
Relational database skills (SQL or similar)
Experience in retail, product development, or operations-focused finance
Proven history of leading continuous improvement initiatives
