Job Description

A large healthcare employer local to south jersey is looking for a part time/per diem file clerk for one of their Revenue Cycle teams. This person will be responsible for sending out appeals via hard copy or upload to their internal portals to support Denial Representatives that are apart of their patient follow up team. This person will get trained on their EMR Epic system for patient documentation and will be responsible for various other clinical duties such as filing medical records, answering corresponding messages and updating insurances.


SHIFT: 24-32 hours weekly
(3-4 days onsite - NO REMOTE WORK POSSIBLE)

- Epic
- Medical Billing terminology
- 1+ year of Hospital experience in any capacity
- Front end scheduler
- Back end insurance follow up
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Interpretation of an EOB or EOD statement within medical billing
- Must be able to work independently
