Family Medicine Physician Opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA

We are looking for a dedicated full-time Family Medicine Physician to join our team in Pittsburgh. This role focuses on providing bedside wound care in post-acute environments such as Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals (LTACHs). Enjoy a schedule free from night shifts, on-call duties, or weekend responsibilities. The position involves a mobile practice, where you will visit various facilities within a 40–60 mile radius, conduct wound rounds, and treat approximately 20–30 patients each day, utilizing a specialized wound-specific electronic medical record (EMR) system. Comprehensive training and a fellowship in wound care will be provided. This is a W2 employment opportunity that includes benefits, malpractice coverage, mileage reimbursement, and a typical workweek of around 45 hours. Candidates must hold an active, unrestricted MD or DO license and commit to a minimum of three weekdays per week.

Qualifications:

• Must possess an active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• A minimum commitment of three weekdays per week is required.

Practice Details:

• Full-time hours are Monday to Friday (7 AM - 4 PM), with part-time options available.
• No on-call or weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians provide modern wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Weekly wound rounds are conducted at each facility.
• Part-time roles require a minimum of three days per week, while full-time roles typically involve four to five days per week.
• This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of their primary location.
• Physicians will visit 2-3 facilities daily, treating around 20-30 patients each day.
• Clinical documentation occurs in real-time during rounds using our proprietary wound-specific EMR.
• Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a six-month wound care fellowship.
• This is a W2 employment contract (please note that work visa sponsorship is not available).
