Job Description

Our client, a well-established construction management firm, is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee complex, multi-phase building projects with a strong focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This position requires a proactive leader capable of managing diverse subcontractors, maintaining disciplined site operations, and serving as a key liaison between field teams and project stakeholders. The Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring that project goals are achieved on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational standards.

Job Duties
  • Provide full on-site leadership for large-scale, multi-phase construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Manage daily operations including site safety, cleanliness, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractor activities.
  • Interpret design documents and ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Lead and document weekly coordination meetings, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to schedule, safety, or quality.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Procore , Bluebeam , and MS Office for accurate reporting and communication.
  • Oversee submittal, RFI, and site reporting workflows to ensure timely and transparent project documentation.
  • Support the project management team in driving milestones, ensuring alignment between field execution and project objectives.
  • Uphold a professional presence both in the field and in client-facing settings, balancing hands-on leadership with strategic communication.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience , including leadership of complex, multi-phase projects.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office Suite ).
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Strong understanding of design interpretation, building codes, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to travel 30-50% and balance both administrative and on-site responsibilities.
Preferred:
  • OSHA and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credentials.
  • Experience managing construction projects within K-12 environments or similarly complex public-sector settings.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust and navigate multifaceted client communications.
