Community Outreach Coordinator Wanted
We’re a growing Personal Injury law firm looking for a Community Outreach Coordinator to assist our Marketing department. We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Outreach Coordinator to develop, implement, and manage outreach programs that strengthen our connection with the community we serve. The ideal candidate will be a relationship-builder with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop partnerships with community organizations and advocacy groups
- Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and educational programs
- Create outreach materials including flyers, presentations, and digital content
- Serve as a primary point of contact for community inquiries and concerns
- Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility
- Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and public statements
- Create content for the firm's website, blog, and marketing materials
- Represent the firm at networking events and professional associations
- Manage the firm's social media presence across multiple platforms
- Create engaging content that educates the community about legal rights and safety
- Collaborate with marketing team on digital advertising campaigns
- Develop materials to help clients understand the legal process
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Experience with media relations and press release writing
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to represent the firm professionally
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal Injury law firm experience
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations or community-based programs
- Knowledge of local community resources and networks
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Understanding of legal advertising ethics and compliance requirements preferred
