Role Summary

As a CNC Machinist, you will set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precise metal parts. Your expertise will be crucial in interpreting blueprints and using precision measuring tools to ensure the highest quality standards. You’ll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, fabricating, modifying, and repairing components while adhering to strict safety protocols.

Work Schedule

4 days a week (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday) from 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM.

Location: Bridgeville, PA.

Your Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate various machine tools and carry out routine tasks.
• Operations Management: Follow established processes to ensure smooth operations.
• Equipment Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to mandatory work instructions to ensure a safe environment.
• Quality Compliance: Ensure work meets required quality standards and regulatory codes.
• Precision Measurement: Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers and dial indicators.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
• Effective Communication: Engage in courteous interactions with team members.
• Policy Adherence: Understand and follow organizational policies and procedures.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, with 3-5 years of relevant machining experience.
• Programming Skills: Experience in self-programming or editing CNC programs.
• Precision Tools: Proficient with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
• Shift Flexibility: Ability to work the night shift.
• Communication: Clear and effective verbal communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to plan and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safe work systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with high-volume machining of similar parts or products.
• Solid background in writing CNC programs.
