The role involves working 12-hour variable shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and holidays without call responsibilities, supporting multiple operating rooms and treatment areas. CRNAs operate within a medically supervised care team model, performing 3-4 anesthetic cases per shift across diverse surgical specialties.
