Business/Systems Analyst/Administrator
6 months contract to start 
Boston MA
Focus Areas: Global directory governance • Data stewardship • Connector oversight • Process ownership • UAT/support • Cross-functional liaison

This position is a blend business administration (system stewardship, data quality, workflow ownership) with traditional business analysis (requirements gathering, root-cause analysis, process improvement). The candidate will create structure where no clear owners exist today—especially around connectors, directory processes, and cross-Veeva data flows.
Key Responsibilities

• Global Directory Process Ownership
• Manage, route, and approve directory entries globally.
• Ensure harmonized data standards and cross-system consistency.

• Data Stewardship Across Veeva Systems
• Monitor CTMS/eTMF/Site Connector/QMS datasets for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Maintain reference data, controlled vocabularies, and data mappings.
• Connector Monitoring & Ownership
• Take responsibility for previously unowned connectors and integration workflows.
• Perform root-cause analysis for connector delays, sync failures, and data mismatches.
• Coordinate directly with IT, Veeva support, and vendor teams.
• Hybrid BA Functions
• Gather business requirements for enhancements, new workflows, and data changes.
• Create user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops with Clinical Operations, Study Teams, TMF Leads, Quality, and Vendor Oversight.
• Business Administration Functions
• Support configuration changes, update metadata, and maintain business rules.
• Lead UAT cycles, test scripts, and defect triage.
• Maintain governance documents, job aids, SOPs, process maps.
• Operational and Release Support
• Prepare the business for Veeva updates.
• Communicate release impacts and coordinate training with end users.
  Desired Experience & Skills
  • Experience with Veeva CTMS, eTMF, Site Connector, or QMS (admin or super-user level).
  • Familiarity with clinical operations workflows and global directory structures.
  • Strong analytic capability with comfort navigating complex data.
  • Experience running UAT, triaging issues, writing requirements, and coordinating with IT.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, multi-system environments and bring structure where lacking.
  • Strong communication skills supporting global stakeholders.
