The Business Change & Continuous Improvement Partner is responsible for driving business transformation initiatives, managing change, and implementing continuous improvement methodologies across the organization. This role requires a strong background in project management to ensure that all initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing both the human and technical aspects of change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals. Additionally, this role involves significant stakeholder engagement, particularly with external funders, to secure support and resources for transformation initiatives.

Business Change Management

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and concerns, and provide support throughout the change process.
  • Design and deliver training programs to prepare employees for changes.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure transparency and buy-in.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for improvement within existing business processes and systems.
  • Apply methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate employees on continuous improvement techniques.
  • Monitor and measure the impact of improvement initiatives, ensuring they deliver the desired outcomes.

Project Management

  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Track project progress, manage changes, and report on project status to senior management.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including external funders.
  • Engage with external funders to secure support and resources for improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate the value and impact of transformation initiatives to stakeholders to gain their buy-in and support.
  • Ensure that stakeholder needs and expectations are understood and addressed throughout the change process.
Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field. or an equivalent combination of experience and education demonstrating applied skills.  
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business change management, continuous improvement, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Certifications: Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are highly desirable.
  • Change Management: Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including external funders.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Extensive standing, and sitting and continuous computer, phone, and deskwork required. Work will be primarily in a defined office environment with specified hours. Will require one on one and group interaction with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds. Must be available for occasional out of office meetings, conferences, training, and other events as needed.
