Associate Attorney

No Billable Hour Requirement

Starting Salary: $125,000 - $200,000

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various Insurance Defense, Insurance Coverage and/or Employment Law related legal matters including litigation, arbitration, and insurance defense, providing exceptional client representation and legal advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
• Assist in the preparation and representation of cases in court.
• Participate in negotiations and mediation sessions on behalf of clients.
• Draft contracts and review legal agreements for compliance and risks.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records of case developments.
• Liaise with clients to discuss case updates and legal strategies.
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and approaches.
• Stay current with changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• 3 + years of experience in Insurance Defense, Insurance Coverage and/or Employment Law.
• Strong understanding of contract law, civil procedure, and employment law.
• Excellent legal writing and research skills.
• Proven experience in client representation and negotiation.
• Familiarity with insurance coverage and defense, particularly in transportation and trucking matters.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
