Job Description
NYC consumer electronics company is looking for a talented, on-site 3D industrial designer with strong 3D animation skills. Must be proficient in Rhino, Solidworks, Keyshot and Blender. Having a background in either industrial design, interior design or 3D art or modeling also a plus. The role will consist of CAD modeling, photorealistic rendering and animation of tzumi products. Modeling soft goods a plus! The candidate should have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This candidate will be joining a dynamic and talented team of artists. Knowledge of Augmented Reality a PLUS!

Job Responsibilities:
• Model consumer products from .stp files as well as from scratch
• Create SKU Displays, endcaps, trays and the like for major retailers
• Render product/Packaging/Display images for photo compositing, websites, e-comm listings and marketing
• Modify products and create color ways for concepts and production
• Create dynamic animations for video, web and social platforms
• Daily communication with sales teams, product development team and factories
Qualifications:
• Team player who can turn constructive feedback into motivation
• Fluency in 3D modeling (SOLIDWORKS / RHINO)
• Efficiency in rendering software (KEYSHOT Preferred)
• Ability to make 3D models from design sketches, layouts, and details which are prepared by others
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite preferred
• Excellent communication skills via verbal and email correspondence
• Manage multiple projects with critical deadlines simultaneously
• Proactive with questions and department development
• Maintains composure under tight deadlines
• Can be available in office Monday - Friday in Midtown, Manhattan, NY
• Video/Animation experience a MUST!
Education/Experience:
• Minimal 5 years year degree in drafting, industrial design, art, or related fields
• Minimal 3 years experience in product animation
• Knowledge of AR a PLUS!
